The Arc of New Mexico
A statewide advocacy organisation founded in 1955 that promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion in the community throughout their lifetimes. The Arc of New Mexico provides advocacy, family support, housing assistance, and policy work across the state.

Established in 1955, The Arc of New Mexico is the state's oldest and largest advocacy organisation dedicated to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a chapter of The Arc of the United States, it combines grassroots family advocacy with professional policy expertise to drive change at state and local levels.
What They Do
The organisation delivers advocacy services, family support programmes, housing and community-living resources, and legislative policy work. The Arc of New Mexico coordinates with local Arc chapters throughout the state and partners with disability service providers to extend its reach into communities across New Mexico.

People with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages, and their families and caregivers, across New Mexico.
