The Arc of Ohio is the state affiliate of The Arc of the United States, headquartered in Columbus at 1335 Dublin Rd. Founded in 1950 by parents of individuals with I/DD, it is a grassroots membership organisation with multiple local chapters serving Ohioans statewide.
What They Do
The Arc of Ohio advances legislative and social action at the state capitol, provides information and education to families, supports local chapter development, and advocates for inclusive community living, employment, and education. It monitors policy developments affecting Ohioans with I/DD and mobilises its membership to respond.
