Autism Society of Minnesota(AuSM)
Minnesota's primary organisation for the autism community since 1971, offering direct services including counselling, social skills classes, summer camps, and 20+ support groups alongside statewide policy advocacy. AuSM runs the Navigating MSP airport-desensitisation programme and the annual Minnesota Autism Conference.

Founded in 1971, the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) serves autistic people across the lifespan, their families, and the professionals who support them throughout the state. Headquartered in Saint Paul, AuSM blends direct services with systems advocacy and community-building, creating a hub for Minnesota's autism community.
What They Do
AuSM provides individual counselling and consulting, social skills classes for youth and adults, summer camps, and more than 20 free virtual and in-person support groups. It administers the Autism Direct Support Certification training programme for direct support professionals, hosts the annual Minnesota Autism Conference, and operates Navigating MSP — a desensitisation partnership with Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport to help autistic travellers prepare for air travel.

Autistic people of all ages from early childhood through adulthood, their families and caregivers, and DSPs and other professionals working in the autism community across Minnesota.
