About

Founded in 1990 in the wake of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition (CCDC) is the only statewide Colorado organisation governed and operated entirely by people with diverse disabilities. Based in Denver, CCDC has built a strong reputation for effective grassroots advocacy and systemic change across all disability types.

What They Do

CCDC pursues legislative and regulatory change, legal advocacy, and community organising to dismantle barriers facing Coloradans with disabilities. The organisation monitors state policy, mobilises members, offers free membership, and engages directly on housing, healthcare, education, and community access issues.

Who They Serve

All Coloradans with disabilities — physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychiatric — who seek to live full, equitable lives with equal access to civic, professional, and personal opportunities.
