FENEDIF (Federación Nacional de Ecuatorianos con Discapacidad Física) is a non-profit organisation headquartered in Quito, Ecuador, that groups together 59 associations of persons with physical disability throughout the country. Its core purpose is to strengthen the work of its affiliates through training, experience-sharing, and resource coordination.
What They Do
FENEDIF's most recognised programme is the Labour Integration Service (SIL — Servicio de Integración Laboral), a tripartite partnership of government, NGOs, and companies. Since its inception it has helped over 12,900 people with disabilities find employment in 8,355 public and private organisations — a record cited internationally as a model for disability employment inclusion. FENEDIF also engages in inclusive education advocacy and supports member organisations with technical capacity building.
