About

Founded on 12 December 1997, FSAPH unites disability associations from all regions of Senegal under one national body. The federation operates through regional branches and partners with government ministries and international donors to advance the rights of its more than 100,000 members.

What They Do

FSAPH advocates for disability-inclusive legislation and policy implementation, coordinates access to universal health coverage (UHC), promotes adaptive employment and inclusive education, and runs awareness campaigns. A two-year advocacy push increased UHC enrolment among persons with disabilities from 38.5 % to 42 % and helped 15,000 members obtain social-protection identity cards.

Who They Serve

Adults and young people with physical, sensory, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities across all regions of Senegal.
