The Illinois Center for Autism (ICA) is a not-for-profit, community-based mental health treatment and educational agency founded in 1977, headquartered in Belleville, Illinois. It is the only agency of its kind in Southern Illinois, serving 12 counties and operating two campuses — Belleville and Fairview Heights.
What They Do
ICA operates special day school programmes for elementary and adolescent students, adult vocational rehabilitation and job training, independent living skills classes, transportation training, recreational activities, and family support services. All programmes apply evidence-based practices rooted in applied behaviour analysis (ABA).
