About

The Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities (OCDD) is Oregon's federally-funded state Developmental Disabilities Council, operating under the federal DD Assistance and Bill of Rights Act. A majority of council members are people with developmental disabilities or their family members, appointed by the Governor.

What They Do

OCDD advances social and policy change so that people with developmental disabilities, their families, and communities may live, work, play, and learn together. The council advises the Governor, Legislature, and state agencies, funds community-based projects, and collaborates with disability coalitions to drive systemic improvements across Oregon.

Who They Serve

OCDD serves Oregonians with intellectual and developmental disabilities—including those with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism—as well as their families and communities throughout the state.
