Oregon Self Advocacy Coalition(OSAC)

The Oregon Self Advocacy Coalition is a statewide organization operated by and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing a unified voice for disability rights and self-determination in Oregon. Entirely disabled-led, OSAC trains self-advocates, supports local groups, and advocates directly with lawmakers at state and national levels.

The Oregon Self Advocacy Coalition (OSAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded, directed, and run entirely by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, based in Salem, Oregon. OSAC coordinates self-advocacy efforts across the state and represents the disability community in legislative and policy discussions.

OSAC trains self-advocates in public speaking, policy engagement, and legislative testimony; supports local self-advocacy chapters across Oregon; and works to ensure that people with developmental disabilities have meaningful input into state and federal policy.
