Plena Inclusión España is a national confederation headquartered in Madrid that coordinates more than 880 organisations supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across all of Spain's regions. It works at the European level through Inclusion Europe and Inclusion International.
What They Do
Plena Inclusión promotes self-advocacy, trains professionals through a national online platform (with over 60,000 enrolments in 2025), funds family and childhood projects, and renews the State Platform of Representatives of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. It advocates for rights-based legislation and CRPD compliance.
Who They Serve
People with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages and their families throughout Spain, served through a broad network of regional federations and local associations.
