About
RNID (formerly Action on Hearing Loss) is one of the UK's oldest and largest disability charities, with roots going back to 1911. Based in London, RNID works across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to transform the lives of those living with hearing loss or tinnitus.
What They Do
RNID operates a free Information Line, runs RNID Near You drop-in sessions in towns and cities across the UK, offers a free online hearing check, and funds world-class research into hearing loss and tinnitus treatments. The charity also campaigns for better hearing loop provision, captioning, and accessible healthcare for deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
