Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired(WCBVI)

The Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired (WCBVI) was established in 1952 in Madison, Wisconsin, by uniting several organisations that served people with vision loss. Located at 754 Williamson Street, WCBVI has grown from a legislative advocacy body into a full-service statewide organisation.

What They Do

WCBVI offers low vision evaluations and vision rehabilitation, assistive technology training and demonstration, white cane distribution, the Sharper Vision Store (adaptive products), post-secondary scholarships, and public and professional education. It advocates at the local, state, and federal levels for policies that support Wisconsinites with vision impairment.
