About this resource

About

AccessArt is a UK Registered Charity and arts subject association, confirmed active with £403,000 in reserves as of March 2025. The organisation is dedicated to making visual arts education accessible to everyone, with a particular focus on Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) settings and adults with learning disabilities.

What It Does

AccessArt provides a growing library of artist-led workshop examples drawn from successful projects in SEND and inclusive settings, with adapted techniques for a range of disabilities. It publishes guidance for artists and educators on inclusive facilitation and researches organisations doing exemplary access work in visual arts. Approximately 25% of resources are free; the rest require an affordable membership. AccessArt also advocates for the importance of creative arts for all learners.

Who It Helps
