About this resource

About

Art et al. is an inclusive international art platform co-founded in 2020 by Arts Project Australia, Slominski Projects (London), and Jennifer Lauren Gallery (Manchester). Its mission is to expand the scope, role, and definition of contemporary art by centring neurodivergent and intellectually disabled artists alongside established arts professionals.

What It Does

The platform commissions new artworks and critical conversations between supported-studio artists and prominent curators and writers, and runs #MondayMuse, a monthly curated open call for neurodivergent artists. It maintains a directory of supported studios in the UK and Australia. Accessibility features include the YouAccess widget (text size and colour), Easy Reads, BSL/ASL interpretation, audio translations, and full video captioning.

Who It Helps

Neurodivergent, intellectually, and learning-disabled artists globally who seek gallery-quality representation, critical engagement with their practice, and connection to an international network of inclusive arts professionals and collectors.
