About this resource

About

Developed by Bee Visual LLC in consultation with occupational therapists and developmental specialists, Choiceworks has been a staple of pediatric assistive technology toolkits for over a decade. A single one-time purchase unlocks the full app with no ongoing subscription and no limits on the number of boards, profiles, or images.

What It Does

Choiceworks provides four customizable board types: Schedule (visual daily routines), Waiting (countdown timers to manage transitions), Feelings, and Feelings Scale. Its library includes 180+ preloaded images and audio, and parents or therapists can add personal photos, custom audio recordings, and video. Boards can be shared via email, exported as PDFs, and printed for use without a device.

Who It Helps

Choiceworks is designed for children approximately aged 2–12 who benefit from visual structure — particularly those with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory processing differences, or other neurodevelopmental conditions. It is used daily by parents, teachers, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists.
