About this resource

About

Cory Lee was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy at age two and launched Curb Free with Cory Lee in 2013 as a platform to document wheelchair-accessible travel. The blog has earned three Webby Awards for Best Personal Blog and two Lowell Thomas Awards for Best Travel Blog, growing a community of over 60,000 wheelchair users.

What It Does

The site publishes detailed destination guides, hotel and cruise accessibility reviews, packing lists for wheelchair users, and practical advice on navigating airports, transportation, and tourist sites. Cory has visited all seven continents as a power wheelchair user, providing rare first-person insight into international accessible travel realities.

Who It Helps

Curb Free with Cory Lee serves wheelchair users and people with physical disabilities who want honest, practical information before booking a trip. The companion Curb Free Foundation provides travel grants to help wheelchair users who face financial barriers to exploring the world.
