About this resource

About

Enabling Devices has manufactured and sold adaptive toys, games, and assistive technology since 1978, serving children and adults with physical, cognitive, and multiple disabilities. Their adapted games catalogue is specifically designed for players who cannot use standard game controls.

What It Does

The adapted games range includes switch-adapted board games, cause-and-effect electronic games, adaptive puzzles, and sensory play items operable via single switch, head switch, or minimal voluntary movement. Many products integrate with existing AAC devices and switch interfaces, fitting seamlessly into a user's current assistive technology setup. Custom toy adaptation is also available for existing games.

Who It Helps

Children and adults with physical disabilities, multiple disabilities, or significantly limited voluntary movement who want to participate in recreational game play through switch access or minimal-effort controls.
