About this resource

About

Goally won the NAPPA Award in 2025 for best educational tablet for children with special needs. The platform pairs a dedicated hardware device with a parent-facing app, removing the digital distractions of a standard tablet while delivering structured, therapeutic tools backed by occupational therapy principles.

What It Does

Goally's suite includes customisable visual schedule routines, a token economy board for positive reinforcement, a video modelling library showing real kids performing tasks, a learning-games section, and an emotion regulation tool. Parents configure everything via a companion app, and the child interacts with an engaging, child-friendly interface. Content syncs automatically over Wi-Fi.

Who It Helps

Children ages 2–14 with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and other conditions affecting executive function and daily living skills. Also valuable for any child who benefits from visual structure, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement to build independence in self-care and transitions.
