Founded to address a gap in inclusive sports access across the Kansas City metro area, Midwest Adaptive Sports is headquartered at Hy-Vee Arena and operates programmes throughout the region. As a Move United chapter, MAS draws on national adaptive sports best practices while delivering locally focused instruction.

What It Does

Winter programming runs January through February at Snow Creek Ski Area in Weston, MO, offering sit-ski and adaptive snow sports lessons. Year-round sports include cycling, handcycling, wheelchair tennis, and other adaptive recreation activities.

Individuals of all ages with physical disabilities in the Kansas City metropolitan area and surrounding communities who want to access snow sports and other adaptive recreational activities.
