About this resource

About

Mind Body Solutions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Hopkins, Minnesota, founded in 2002 by Matthew Sanford — a yoga teacher and author who has lived with paraplegia since age 13. The organisation's mission is to transform trauma, loss, and disability into hope and potential by awakening the connection between mind and body.

What It Does

Mind Body Solutions offers free weekly live online adaptive yoga classes at multiple levels, from fully seated to ambulatory adaptive, alongside an on-demand YouTube video library available 24/7. It also delivers teacher training programmes so instructors can bring adaptive yoga into clinical, community, and studio settings.

Who It Helps

People living with spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, stroke, traumatic brain injury, limb difference, and other conditions affecting mobility. All online classes are free and open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
