About
MindMate was created specifically to support cognitive health for people living with memory conditions including dementia and Alzheimer's disease. With over 3,000 five-star App Store reviews and more than one million global users, it has been recognised by the University at Buffalo's Helping Apps for Practitioners and Educators (HAPPE) programme and by the Converge Challenge innovation award.
What It Does
The app provides free interactive brain games targeting problem-solving, processing speed, memory, and attention, alongside physical workout videos, healthy recipe ideas, and educational videos about dementia. A My Diary photo album feature helps users preserve personal memories. The built-in Insights section tracks mood, sleep, and cognitive and physical activity trends over a rolling four-week window.
Who It Helps
MindMate is designed for adults living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, people with a family history of cognitive decline, older adults wanting to maintain brain health, and their carers and families. All core features are free with no subscription required.
