About this resource

About

MyVisualRoutine was designed by a parent who understands the daily challenges of supporting a child with autism, prioritising simplicity, privacy, and immediate usability. No account is required to get started, and a 14-day free trial of premium features is available without a credit card. All data stays on the user's device and is never shared.

What It Does

Users create step-by-step visual schedules for morning routines, bedtime, school, meals, and any daily activity using 50+ preloaded activity icons or custom photos and voice recordings. Choice boards with 2–4 options support meal and activity decisions; First-Then boards motivate task completion by previewing a reward; full day plans give an at-a-glance overview. A dedicated Kids Mode provides a simplified child-friendly interface for independent use without caregiver oversight.

Who It Helps

Families and caregivers of children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other communication or developmental challenges who need a quick, low-barrier visual schedule tool. Also useful for non-speaking individuals who benefit from choice boards and structured daily prompts.
