About this resource

About

Nagish was founded to make phone communication accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing people using AI rather than human operators, protecting the privacy of every call. The FCC certified Nagish as an IP CTS provider in 2024 and as an IP Relay provider in 2025, and the company was named the 2025 Speech to Text Solution of the Year by the AI Breakthrough Awards.

What It Does

Nagish works with a user existing phone number to caption incoming and outgoing calls, displaying AI-generated captions in real time on screen. The Nagish Live feature also transcribes in-person conversations at appointments, lectures, and events. The app includes a personal dictionary for custom words and phrases, quick-reply text responses, and multilingual support for English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Hebrew, and Italian.

Who It Helps

Nagish is designed for deaf and hard-of-hearing adults and young adults who want private, accurate phone captioning and in-person transcription on iOS and Android devices.
