About this resource

About

The National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC) is the official library of NIDILRR (National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research), part of the US Department of Health and Human Services. NARIC collects, catalogs, and disseminates research publications and products funded by NIDILRR and the wider disability research community.

What It Does

NARIC provides free access to its REHABDATA database of more than 100,000 rehabilitation and disability research publications, including archived AT product content from the former AbleData database. Specialist librarians offer free information and referral services to connect people with disabilities and their families to resources that support community and independent living.
