About this resource

About

The Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) launched its Online Fitness + Wellness Program in 2025, powered by Warrior Strong, to extend adaptive fitness support to veterans across the country who cannot access in-person facilities. PVA has advocated for and served veterans with spinal cord injuries since 1946.

What It Does

The programme provides up to nine free weekly live virtual classes including seated strength training, adaptive aerobics, endurance work, hand-eye coordination exercises, meditation, and breathwork sessions — all specifically adapted for participants living with quadriplegia, paraplegia, multiple sclerosis, or ALS. All classes are free for veterans and their caregivers, with no equipment barriers.

Who It Helps

U.S. veterans living with spinal cord injuries or neurological diseases — including MS and ALS — and their caregivers seeking accessible adaptive fitness from home. While designed for veterans, the adaptive techniques used are broadly applicable to others with similar mobility challenges.
