About
QuentinC's Playroom is a free, screen-reader-native online gaming platform that has been serving blind and visually impaired players globally for over a decade. The platform automatically detects common screen readers — including JAWS, NVDA, Window-Eyes, and Supernova — and adapts its interface accordingly, requiring no additional configuration.
What It Does
The platform hosts more than 33 games including Chess, Battleship, UNO, Connect Four, and a wide variety of card and strategy games, all fully keyboard-navigable. An in-game chat system with automatic translation supports play across language barriers. Players can create free discussion tables to socialise between games. The platform is available via any web browser or as downloadable apps for Windows, iOS, Android, and Mac.
Who It Helps
Blind and visually impaired players of all ages who want to play classic board and card games independently — with friends, family, or the global community — without requiring sighted assistance to navigate or read game state.
