The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is one of the world's leading organisations dedicated to curing spinal cord injury and improving quality of life for people living with paralysis. The NPRC offers a free 442-page Paralysis Resource Guide (available in English, Spanish, and other languages, in print and digital formats), a toll-free information line (1-800-539-7309) staffed by trained specialists, peer mentoring connections, and an extensive online library covering rehabilitation technology, assistive devices (including exoskeletons and power wheelchairs), home modifications, driving, travel, employment, and mental health. State-by-state resource guides help users navigate local services.
The NPRC serves anyone affected by paralysis — whether from spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, neurological disease, or birth conditions — along with their families and caregivers. The Military & Veterans Programme provides specialised support for current service members and veterans regardless of when or how their injury occurred.

Google Live Transcribe is a free Android app that converts speech and surrounding sounds into real-time on-screen captions, making everyday conversations more accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing users. Developed in partnership with Gallaudet University, it supports more than 120 languages and processes all audio on-device for privacy.
