About

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is the leading US non-profit funding spinal cord injury research and supporting quality of life for people with paralysis. Its Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) is funded by the Administration for Community Living and operates as a national information clearinghouse — serving anyone affected by paralysis regardless of cause or location.

What It Does

The PRC provides a free 442-page Paralysis Resource Guide available in multiple formats and languages, downloadable fact sheets on hundreds of topics including power wheelchairs, exoskeletons, vehicle modifications, home modification, pressure injury prevention, attendant care, and travelling with paralysis. Trained information specialists are reachable at 1-800-539-7309 Monday through Friday to answer individual questions and connect callers with local resources.
