RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America) is a non-profit professional organisation founded in 1979. With over 1,000 members — including engineers, occupational and physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and AT practitioners — it is the leading body advancing the field of assistive technology in North America.

RESNA administers the ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) and SMS (Seating and Mobility Specialist) credentialing exams, the gold standard for AT practitioners.
