RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America) is a non-profit interdisciplinary membership organisation founded in 1979 that sets professional standards for occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, engineers, and AT suppliers.

What It Does

RESNA offers the ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) and CRTS (Complex Rehabilitation Technology Supplier) certifications. Its public-facing website provides a certified-supplier locator to help people find accredited local AT professionals, position papers on AT funding and policy, technical standards publications, and information on state Assistive Technology Act programmes funded through NIDILRR.
