RESNA — the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America — is the professional association for assistive technology practitioners and researchers in the US and Canada. Founded in 1979, RESNA sets the national credentialing standards for assistive technology service providers and offers two key certifications relevant to mobility and smart home AT: the Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and the Seating & Mobility Specialist (SMS).
