About this resource

About

The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is the UK's leading charity supporting blind and partially sighted people, providing advice, campaigning, and practical products that support independent living. Their games and leisure range extends that mission to social and recreational life.

What It Does

The RNIB board games shop stocks tactile chess sets with raised squares and pegged Staunton pieces, large-print Scrabble, braille Monopoly with fully brailled money and cards, domino sets with tactile dots, jumbo playing card packs, and braille card decks. The RNIB Helpline (0303 123 9999) can also advise on adapted game options beyond those listed in the online shop.

Who It Helps

Blind and partially sighted people in the UK and internationally seeking adapted classic and family games; carers and family members wanting an inclusive game-night option; occupational therapists sourcing low-vision leisure equipment.
