About this resource

About

SCI Total Fitness was founded by Kristin McNealus, PT, DPT, ATP, a physical therapist specialising in neurological rehabilitation who recognised that clients needed structured support after leaving hospital. Developed as the first dedicated online exercise programme for people with spinal cord injuries, it has since expanded to serve a wide range of physical and neurological conditions.

What It Does

Subscribers receive two new video workouts every week — a cardio routine and an interval strength session — alongside nutrition guidance and regular check-ins for accountability. Programmes target cardiovascular health, weight management, endurance, and the prevention of secondary complications such as pressure injuries and metabolic disease. Conditions served include spinal cord injury, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson disease, stroke, amputation, arthritis, and fibromyalgia.

Who It Helps

SCI Total Fitness is designed for people with spinal cord injuries and related neurological or physical conditions who want clinically informed, structured exercise from home. It is particularly useful for those in areas without accessible gyms or adaptive fitness professionals, providing expert-designed programming regardless of location.
