About this resource

About

Special Needs at Sea (a division of Special Needs Group) has served cruise travelers with disabilities since 2007. As a member of CLIA — the Cruise Lines International Association — it is one of the two most widely trusted accessible cruise equipment services worldwide, covering 215 cities across 68 countries.

What It Does

Travelers reserve online and choose equipment delivered directly to their cruise stateroom or pre-cruise hotel. The rental fleet includes manual and power wheelchairs, mobility scooters (cruise-approved to fit standard stateroom doors), rollators, oxygen systems (liquid, cylinder, and concentrator), hearing-impaired assistive devices, patient lifts, and hospital beds. White Glove Service covers personalised delivery and pickup with no assembly by the traveler.

Who It Helps

Cruise passengers with mobility impairments, supplemental oxygen needs, or hearing disabilities who want the freedom of cruising without the logistical burden of transporting bulky assistive equipment on flights and through airports.
