About this resource

About

Traveleyes International was established in 2004 by Amar Latif after he struggled to find accessible group travel options following significant vision loss. The company pioneered a model where blind and sighted travellers travel together, each offering something to the other.

What It Does

Traveleyes organises small-group international tours to destinations across the world — from Spain's Camino de Santiago to game safaris in Africa, India's Golden Triangle, and Southeast Asian cultural tours. Sighted travellers receive a price reduction in exchange for acting as a sighted guide and describing the environment to their blind travel partner. All tours are structured to maximise independent exploration for blind participants.

Who It Helps

Blind and partially sighted adults who want to travel internationally in a structured group with built-in sighted support. Also an opportunity for sighted travellers to have a meaningful, inclusive travel experience.
