WheelPower is the UK's national charity for wheelchair sport, headquartered at Stoke Mandeville Stadium — the birthplace of the Paralympic Games. The organization has decades of experience making fitness and sport accessible to wheelchair users and disabled people across the United Kingdom and supports participants of all ages.

What It Does

WheelPower offers free weekly live online exercise classes via Zoom including adaptive yoga, box-fit, and tai chi. The charity also hosts a library of exercise videos for home use and provides free resistance bands to support home fitness routines. Sessions are designed to accommodate varying ability levels with a focus on upper-body strength, core stability, and cardiovascular fitness.

Who It Helps

Wheelchair users and people with physical disabilities who want to exercise at home or join a free live virtual class. Sessions are open to adults and young people and are completely free to access.
