About this resource

About

The Wright Stuff is an established adaptive equipment retailer serving people with disabilities across the United States. Their playing card holder range addresses a common and under-served need: people who love card games but whose hands—due to arthritis, tremor, post-stroke weakness, limb difference, or surgery recovery—cannot reliably grip a hand of cards throughout a game session.

What It Does

The catalogue includes hands-free fan-shaped holders that stand on the table so no grip is needed, angled slotted racks that keep cards visible and easy to select with minimal hand movement, and built-up grip devices for users who can hold cards but need extra friction or support. All products are designed to allow independent play without asking another player or carer to hold or manage cards. Many options also work for one-handed play.

Who It Helps

People with arthritis, hand tremors, post-stroke or post-surgery weakness, limb differences, one-sided paralysis, or any other condition affecting hand strength or fine motor control who want to participate independently in any card game—from simple family games to complex strategy card games.
