The Belgian Disability Forum (BDF) is the national umbrella body uniting 20 representative organisations of persons with disabilities across Belgium's linguistic communities. It serves as the official collective voice of disabled Belgians in national political processes and at European and international forums.

What They Do

BDF coordinates advocacy toward federal, regional, and community governments; engages with Belgian parliamentary offices; and represents Belgian disability organisations at the European Disability Forum (EDF). It monitors disability rights policy and produces recommendations on legislation affecting disabled people.
