About

CERMI (Comité Español de Representantes de Personas con Discapacidad) is Spain's leading national disability platform, constituted in 1997 to create a unified voice for the country's disability community. It brings together sectoral organisations and territorial CERMIs across all of Spain's autonomous communities.

What They Do

CERMI lobbies the Spanish and European governments on disability rights legislation, publishes annual policy and legal reports, and coordinates national campaigns on accessible transport, inclusive employment, and equal access to education and healthcare. It also participates directly in EU-level disability policymaking through the European Disability Forum.

Who They Serve

People with any type of disability in Spain and their families, across all age groups, through policy advocacy and representation before national and European institutions.
