DFI provides policy analysis, advocacy, and capacity-building support to its member organisations, represents the disability sector in the Oireachtas Disability Group and the Disability Stakeholder Group, delivers training and governance guidance to voluntary organisations, and produces research on disability rights and service standards. It works to ensure the full implementation of the UNCRPD is embedded in Irish law and public policy.
