About

Established in 1978 following the Developmentally Disabled Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, Disability Rights Arizona (DRAZ) is a non-profit public interest law firm and Arizona's federally mandated Protection and Advocacy (P&A) system. It is the only organization in Arizona offering free legal representation specifically within disability rights.

What They Do

DRAZ provides free legal representation in cases involving developmental disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, mental health, assistive technology access, special education, and vocational rehabilitation disputes. The organization also engages in systemic advocacy to change policies and practices that restrict the rights of disabled Arizonans.

Who They Serve

DRAZ serves children and adults with any disability across Arizona who face legal problems related to their disability and cannot access private legal counsel.
