Disabled Peoples' International North America and the Caribbean(DPI NAC)
DPI North America and the Caribbean is the regional arm of Disabled Peoples' International (DPI), representing 16 national disabled persons' organisations across Anglophone, Francophone, and Dutch-speaking countries in the Caribbean and North America. Based in St John's, Antigua, it promotes disability human rights, equal opportunities, and full CRPD implementation across member states.

Headquartered in St John's, Antigua, Disabled Peoples' International North America and the Caribbean (DPI NAC) is the regional branch of DPI, a global consumer-controlled cross-disability INGO. It provides a unified regional voice for disability rights across Caribbean island states and North American territories, with 16 member organisations and one associate member.
What They Do
DPI NAC advocates for CRPD ratification and implementation across member states, supports the development and capacity of national disabled persons' organisations, promotes disabled self-representation and peer leadership, and shares resources and good practices among member countries. It has produced country-level reports on CRPD compliance and engages the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Persons with all types of disabilities across the Caribbean and North American region, primarily through national DPOs in Anglophone, Francophone, and Dutch-speaking member countries including Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and other island states.
