About

Established in 1983, Enable Ireland is one of the country's largest disability service providers, operating from over 40 locations in 14 counties. The organisation is guided by the belief that people with disabilities have the right to participate fully in their communities, and delivers services that span the lifespan from early childhood intervention through to adult day and community support.

What They Do

Enable Ireland delivers Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) providing occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, and psychology support for children with complex needs. For adults, it provides day services, respite care, assistive technology assessment and training, and supported employment programmes. It works in close partnership with the Health Service Executive (HSE), schools, and local communities to ensure continuity of specialist support across life stages.

Who They Serve

Children and adults in Ireland with physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities — including those with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, and developmental disorders — as well as their families and carers.
