About

The Estonian Chamber of People with Disabilities (EPIKoda) was founded on 26 February 1993 in Tallinn. It comprises 16 county chambers, 32 national disability-specific unions and associations, and several supporting members — together representing approximately 285 organisations. EPIKoda is a member of the European Disability Forum.

What They Do

EPIKoda provides legal assistance and information to people with disabilities, offers accessibility consulting to public bodies and businesses, monitors and influences national disability policy, and produces a monthly newsletter covering sector developments. The Chamber represents Estonian disability organisations in European networks and advocates before government on legislation affecting disabled and chronically ill people.

Who They Serve

EPIKoda serves Estonians with physical, sensory, intellectual, and chronic-illness-related disabilities of all ages, as well as their families, carers, and the organisations that represent them.
