About

FENAPAPEDISH (Federación Nacional de Padres de Personas con Discapacidad de Honduras) is a non-profit federation reformed in August 2018. Its mission is to promote and defend the human rights of families of persons with disabilities in all fields, improving preparation in rehabilitation, inclusion, health, recreation, culture, and sport.

What They Do

FENAPAPEDISH represents and empowers affiliated associations through leadership training, legislative advocacy, and coordination of services. The federation disseminates mental health and rehabilitation programmes — such as the Rompiendo Fronteras initiative — through its network, and provides accessible resources on Honduras disability legislation through its website.

Who They Serve

FENAPAPEDISH serves families of Hondurans with physical, intellectual, psychosocial, and other disabilities, with attention to inclusive education and transition into adult life.
