FFO is Norway's largest umbrella organisation for people with disabilities and chronic illness, founded in 1950 and representing 90 member organisations with close to 400,000 members. It works to achieve full equality and participation for disabled people in all areas of Norwegian society.

Funksjonshemmedes Fellesorganisasjon (FFO) was founded on 21 September 1950 and has grown into Norway's largest umbrella organisation for the disability and chronic illness community. Based in Oslo, its 90 member organisations span the full spectrum of disability types and conditions.

What They Do

FFO advocates before the Norwegian government and Storting for policies covering accessible housing, transport, welfare benefits, healthcare, and inclusive employment. It supports member organisations through capacity-building, coordinates joint campaigns, and produces policy analyses and consultation responses on disability-related legislation.
