About
INSOURCE — the Indiana Resource Center for Families with Special Needs — is Indiana's federally designated Parent Training and Information (PTI) centre, based in South Bend. Established to give families with children or adults with disabilities the knowledge and tools they need, INSOURCE provides free services to people of all ages and all disability types across the state.
What They Do
IN*SOURCE offers one-on-one assistance, training workshops, and information resources to help families navigate special education (IEPs, Section 504 plans), disability services, and government programmes. Staff support parents in understanding their rights, preparing for school meetings, and resolving disputes. The centre also trains educators and disability service professionals on family partnership and rights.
