National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine(NAIU)
The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAIU) is Ukraine's primary disability umbrella organisation, uniting 120 national and regional public organisations since its founding in 2001. NAIU advocates for CRPD implementation, disability rights, and social inclusion, and continues its work supporting persons with disabilities throughout the ongoing conflict.
About
The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAIU) was founded on 22 September 2001 and is based at Reitarska Street 8/5A, Kyiv. It is an umbrella body founded and managed by people with disabilities, and is a full member of the European Disability Forum (EDF). NAIU continues its advocacy and support mission for persons with disabilities during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
What They Do
NAIU monitors and advocates for CRPD compliance, coordinates cross-disability policy positions, submits reports to Ukrainian and international institutions, and supports member organisations in delivering services and legal assistance. The assembly also represents Ukrainian disabled people's perspectives in European and global disability forums.

NAIU serves people with all types of disabilities across Ukraine through 120 national and regional member organisations led by and for people with disabilities, representing hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens with disabilities and their families.
