National Disability Forum Solomon Islands (NDFSI) is a non-governmental organisation serving as the central coordinating umbrella body for disability organisations across the Solomon Islands. Formally recognised as the national civil society body representing the voice of persons with disabilities, NDFSI is a member of the Pacific Disability Forum.
What They Do
NDFSI coordinates member organisations including the Blind and Visual Impairment Association (BVIA), Solomon Islands Deaf Association (SIDA), People with Disabilities Solomon Islands (PWDSI), and Women and Girls with Disability (WGWD). The forum engaged government in developing the National Disability Inclusive Development Policy 2022–2026 and represents the Solomon Islands disability community in regional forums.
