Nevada Disability Advocacy and Law Center(NDALC)
The Nevada Disability Advocacy and Law Center is Nevada's federally mandated Protection and Advocacy System, designated by the governor in 1995, providing free legal advocacy and rights protection to Nevadans with disabilities through offices in Las Vegas, Reno, and Elko. NDALC works to expand and defend the human, legal, and service rights of people with disabilities across the state.

Designated as Nevada's Protection and Advocacy System by Governor Bob Miller in 1995, the Nevada Disability Advocacy and Law Center is a private, statewide nonprofit operating independently from state government. NDALC is funded through the federal Administration for Community Living, the Department of Education, SAMHSA, and the Social Security Administration.
What They Do
NDALC provides information and referral, education and training, self-advocacy skill building, negotiation and mediation, investigation of reported abuse and neglect, legal counsel, technical assistance, and public policy work. The organisation operates a statewide intake process and prioritises cases involving imminent harm, systemic violations, and unserved populations.
Who They Serve
NDALC serves Nevadans of all ages and disability types across its three regional offices. Services are free and available statewide, including in rural Nevada, regardless of income.
